AGIBOT has established a formal route into the British market through Scancom, which identifies itself as the company’s sole UK master distributor. The arrangement is supported by a robot-as-a-service offer that reduces the need for prospective users to purchase a machine before testing it.
The Chinese robotics manufacturer announced its UK expansion in London on 30 June 2026. Its official announcement lists humanoid rentals from £1,999 per day and quadruped rentals from £899 per day, with local deployment and operational support included.
What has changed
Scancom’s AGIBOT range currently includes the X2 Ultra and A2 Ultra humanoids, the lighter A2 Lite, D1 quadrupeds and the industrial G2 platform. Its trade page states that the range is available in the UK and expressly invites enquiries from trade customers, enterprises and Value-Added Partners.
AGIBOT has also established a British demonstration presence. The manufacturer says its A3, X2, A2 and D1 robots are being shown in retail scenarios at Smart City in Milton Keynes, providing a physical setting in which potential customers can see the systems before discussing a deployment.
Why it matters commercially
For an early market, rental can be more useful than a headline purchase price. A supported short-term deployment lets a venue, agency or business assess reliability, supervision requirements and customer reaction without committing to ownership.
The UK master-distributor structure also creates a clearer channel for demonstrations, logistics, commissioning and technical support. Scancom’s open invitation to Value-Added Partners is particularly relevant to businesses that may eventually provide local integration, transport, training or after-sales services.
What remains unconfirmed
Neither AGIBOT’s announcement nor Scancom’s public trade page provides retail purchase prices for the listed robots. Stock quantities, lead times, deposits, insurance requirements and detailed rental conditions are also not published.
The advertised daily rental figures should therefore be treated as starting prices, not complete quotations. The public announcement does not state whether VAT, delivery, operator travel or venue-specific risk controls are included.
UK relevance now
This development is immediately relevant to the UK because there is now an identified master distributor, a demonstration location and a supported rental route. It does not yet prove widespread commercial adoption, but it moves AGIBOT beyond a manufacturer announcement into a locally organised market offer.
