Taku is Dyna Robotics’ wheeled robot introduced with its Dyna-2.1 system on 29 September 2026. It combines a human-shaped upper body, two seven-degree-of-freedom arms and an articulated lower body on four steerable wheels.

Evidence and maturity

In its technical announcement, Dyna showed an uncut hour-long laundry workflow and described a controller, action model and reasoning layer coordinating the work. These are company demonstrations. Dyna identified deployment at real customer sites as the next milestone for this new system. Earlier commercial results for Dyna’s stationary folding systems should not be assigned to Taku.

Availability and specifications

Robot Harbour classifies Taku as a development platform. Payload, full-body degree-of-freedom count, battery runtime, unit price and delivery timetable have not been verified. UK or EU orders, local warranty support and reseller arrangements are also unverified.

What to verify next

Customer-site operating results should include completed workflows, human interventions, throughput and maintenance needs. Software access, security support and training requirements will also matter to prospective integrators.

Evidence checked 5 October 2026. See the Physical AI guide for background on training and evaluating robots.
