RP1, also called ROBOTO 01, is RoboParty’s bipedal research robot. It made its public debut at IROS on 28 September 2026, according to the company’s 3 October announcement.

Hardware and software

RoboParty describes in-house Romomo actuators with peak joint torque up to 160Nm and the PartyOS research framework. The exhibition demonstration tested balance recovery after external disturbance. It does not establish a certified safety function or dependable industrial performance.

The company plans progressive releases of motion-control systems, simulation environments, SDKs and training tools. Its earlier RPO/ROBOTO ORIGIN project is distinct from RP1: an existing RPO repository does not prove that all promised RP1 materials are available.

Availability

Robot Harbour classifies RP1 as a prototype/debut platform. Further roadmap details were promised for October, with broader releases and a production programme later in the fourth quarter of 2026. Price, confirmed delivery dates, customer shipments, UK/EU supply and local servicing have not been verified.

Evidence record

Manufacturer announcement checked 5 October 2026. Full dimensions, payload, battery specification, software licence coverage and security-support terms remain unverified.
