Coco Robotics develops and operates small wheeled delivery robots for short urban journeys. Its service connects merchants and delivery platforms with a managed robot fleet, rather than offering consumers a general-purpose home robot.

Products and operating model

The company introduced Coco 2 in February 2026, describing improved autonomy, operating time and resilience. Its platform serves restaurants, grocers and other local businesses. Company claims about full autonomy or fleet performance should be distinguished from independently measured intervention rates and service availability in each city.

UK rollout announced — 5 October 2026

Coco and Deliveroo announced an exclusive UK delivery partnership beginning in London’s Canary Wharf in October 2026. Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton-on-Tees and Nottingham are scheduled to follow over subsequent weeks and months. Canary Wharf Group identifies the first programme as a 12-month trial.

The release describes planned local depots, charging facilities and jobs in operations, maintenance and logistics. It names initial participating merchants, including Patty&Bun, Signorelli and Beam. These are launch plans; they do not establish that every listed area is already accepting robot orders or that every route is approved.

Commercial relevance

For British businesses, Coco’s significance lies in a managed delivery network and its supporting infrastructure. Depot operations, charging, recovery and fleet maintenance are more relevant than retail resale of individual robots. The announcement does not offer an open UK reseller or independent repair-accreditation programme.

Local coverage, merchant participation, accessibility measures and human support arrangements should be checked as each service opens. No company-wide uptime or UK cost-per-delivery figure is established by the launch announcement.

Profile reviewed on 8 October 2026. Company statements are attributed; UK availability and support are assessed separately from global product announcements.
