Digit 5 is the next generation of Agility’s Digit family, unveiled on 15 September 2026. This entry separates the new model from earlier Digit robots already working at customer sites.
Manufacturer specifications
Agility’s launch release specifies 1.81m height, 129kg weight, a 22.7kg payload and reach up to 2.2m. It describes 90 minutes of runtime, nine-minute charging and interchangeable grippers with ISO-standard mounting flanges. These are expected product characteristics, not Robot Harbour test results.
Safety and integration
Digit 5 is designed around human detection and an independent safety controller, with Agility Arc fleet software. An October agreement with FORT Robotics concerns development of its safety architecture. A partnership announcement is not completed certification or approval for every workplace.
UK and European availability
Agility expects early access in the first half of 2027 and general availability by year-end, including planned UK and EU access. Relevant regulatory markings are expected rather than confirmed. A British rate card, local service accreditation and final regional configuration have not been verified.
Evidence record
Checked 5 October 2026 against the announcements and product page. Earlier-generation operating hours and customer results must not be presented as Digit 5 deployment evidence. Security-support duration and contract-specific support terms remain unverified.
