Dyna Robotics develops AI models and robotic systems for hospitality, logistics and factory work. Its commercial approach combines task learning, physical hardware and deployment engineering rather than supplying a standalone language model.
Commercial evidence
In its August 2026 deployment report, Dyna identified Din Tai Fung as a customer rolling out its stationary napkin-folding systems. The company reported higher throughput and quality after moving from Dyna-1 to Dyna-2. Its forecast of hundreds of deployed robots by the first half of 2027 is a target, not a completed installed-base milestone.
Taku and Dyna-2.1
On 29 September 2026, Dyna introduced Taku, a wheeled robot with two arms, alongside its Dyna-2.1 control system. The announcement includes an hour-long laundry-workflow demonstration covering movement between workstations and multiple handling tasks.
The demonstration is separate evidence from the earlier stationary customer deployments. It does not establish commercial Taku fleet size, unsupervised shift reliability or the same economic return across different workplaces. Dyna-2.1 combines physical control, learned manipulation and a workflow coordinator; the company attributes the results to the complete system.
UK and European relevance
Dyna’s commercial enquiry route is relevant to hotels, restaurants and industrial operators exploring managed automation. UK pricing, local Taku deliveries, conformity documentation and authorised service partners have not been verified. The practical questions are task coverage, human intervention, installation requirements and continuing support, rather than headline demonstration duration alone.
