Robots and UK activity
Its IRIS platform has appeared in public demonstrations in Japan. On 28 September 2026, Evri announced a Barnsley delivery trial with Refined Robotics, evaluating a two-legged robot as support for couriers.
Evri specifies a 15kg parcel load and a maximum speed of 6km/h for the trial robot. The operator has not published completed-delivery rates, intervention levels or fleet economics.
Availability
The Barnsley project establishes a UK pilot, not general retail availability or a national rollout. Public prices, delivery lead times and a wider European commercial programme remain unverified.
