Refined Robotics Iris

Iris is the delivery robot developed by Refined Robotics and identified in reporting on Evri’s Barnsley trial. The developer uses the styling IRIS in its official demonstration reports.

Barnsley pilot

Evri’s 28 September 2026 announcement describes a two-legged platform designed for outdoor parcel deliveries, including steps, uneven ground and movement into and out of delivery vans. It specifies a parcel load of up to 15kg and speed of up to 6km/h.

Evri describes autonomous operation or remote monitoring, and attended or unattended delivery. These are stated capabilities; the release does not quantify how independently the trial operates or publish delivery-success and intervention rates.

Availability

The verified UK status is a limited pilot in Barnsley. Public pricing, fleet size, trial end date and a wider commercial delivery timetable are undisclosed. No general UK or European purchasing offer was verified.
