EHang

EHang develops and manufactures pilotless electric aircraft for passenger transport, logistics and emergency-response applications. Its flagship EH216-S combines autonomous-flight technology with supporting operational infrastructure.

The company reports commercial EH216-S operations in China, under Chinese aviation certificates. International work includes trial flights and regulatory programmes. Its August 2026 Hong Kong demonstration took place within a government sandbox, while July demonstrations in Switzerland were described as steps towards further validation and possible future commercial deployment.

These are distinct stages of market access. UK and European customers should assess local aircraft certification, operating permissions, infrastructure and service arrangements separately from Chinese approvals or a flight demonstration.
