Feather Robotics is an American robotics company founded in 2025 by Hoa Mai and Parsa Bakhtiari. It develops the Feather mobile manipulator, a modular platform intended for researchers, systems integrators and teams building physical AI applications.
Its approach combines wheeled mobility, two arms, configurable computing and an SDK. Customers develop applications on the hardware; the platform specification does not establish general-purpose autonomous capability. Feather advertises Python and ROS2 support, built-in teleoperation and US-based support.
In September 2026, Feather announced a US$7.6 million pre-seed financing through SAFE agreements. Investor SEED Innovations reproduced the announcement and confirmed its own participation. The company says it is shipping robots and has supplied manufacturing and food-service customers; those statements are manufacturer reports.
UK and European purchasing, support and delivery terms were not established in the official material reviewed.
