Roger is a humanoid prototype developed by Minerva Humanoids for hazardous energy operations and public-safety work.
Control and intended tasks
The proposed system combines a remote specialist with AI-assisted movement. An operator sees the worksite through a headset and controls critical actions, while Minerva’s software supports balance and navigation. The company proposes tasks including equipment inspections, gauge reading and responses to gas alarms. These are intended applications, not independently verified performance results.
Development and availability
Roger remains a prototype. Minerva announced paid pilots for autumn 2026; the announcement does not establish completed deployments. Public specifications, a sale price and confirmed UK or European customer availability have not been verified.
