HyLight develops uncrewed hydrogen-powered airships and an inspection service for infrastructure operators. It combines aerial data collection with analysis for maintenance decisions, rather than offering a humanoid or a ground robot.

Funding and operating evidence

In its October 2026 Series A announcement, HyLight reported €13m in new funding, four aircraft operating and 7,000km inspected. Its aim of 15 HyLighters in 2027 is a future fleet target. The operational totals are company-reported, not independently audited by Robot Harbour.

A September 2026 Enedis project account describes French regional inspection experiments and the integration of detected defects into asset-management processes. The customer still identifies reliability, safety and economic competitiveness at larger scale as matters to validate.

UK and European position

French customer evidence supports an active European inspection programme. No British deployment, local price, distributor or authorised servicing programme was verified in the sources reviewed. European trials do not establish UK operating permissions or an off-the-shelf aircraft sales offer.
